O Formigueiro - Anthill

Ontem eu fui a uma festa num hotel, e lá encontrei estas formigas. Elas são, provavelmente, brachymyrmex. Yesterday I went to a party in a hotel, and there I found these ants.   They are, probably, Brachymyrmex. They were very thirsty.

Muitas rainhas numa super colônia. Many queens in a super colony. As operárias que você vê na foto abaixo são de outra colônia. As rainhas as aceitaram e as operárias contribuem cuidando dos ovos e das larvas. The workers that you see bellow are from another colony. The queens accepted them, and the workes help nursering the eggs and larvaes.

Ontem coletei várias rainhas crematogaster. Separei-as em pequenos grupos de no mínimo 3, mas tem 2 com 10 rainhas juntas. E já começaram a colocar os ovos. Yesterday I collected several Crematogaster queens. I separated them into small groups of at least 3, but has 2 groups with 10 queens together. And they have started to lay the eggs.
